Meet Cinch's newest modular connector family, C-ENX, which provides in-cabin interconnectivity for the aerospace industry. Designed to meet the requirements of ARINC 800 and European Standard EN 4644, the C-ENX family features rectangular profiles that provide reductions in weight and size compared to the circular 38999 connectors used by the aerospace industry. The higher contact density translates directly to operational cost savings over the lifetime of the aircraft. In addition, the family is designed to increase uptime thanks to the rectangular shape and floating shell mounts that allow for blind meeting.
The modular family consists of contacts, inserts, shells, and back shells available to suit thousands of combinations for any aerospace application and the inserts maintain the same profile, which allows for easier modifications for future changes. Utilizing the same panel cutouts throughout the product offering, the C-ENX shells are available for cable-to-panel and panel-to-panel in single and double or even higher cavity counts where consolidation of connectors is needed.
